Dead Island

Basically Cat saw me playing Dead Island and she asked me if I could post some info about it.
So it is a Zombie-Survival-RPG game. It is made by Techland (Polish Company )
4 people, Sam B, Xian Mei, Logan Carter and Purna, took part in blood take course and they all won vacation at Banoi. Then the apocalypse starts, blah-blah-blah.
The graphics are good, not brilliant but will do. You can choose any of the 4 characters. I choose Sam B (The Blunt weapon specialist). There is a lot of side quests to do. There are levels and XP. When you go up one level you get a skill point which you can spend on lots of different skills. At the beginning you use quite bad weapons like Paddle, Wooden stick and that kind of stuff. Weapons get destroyed quite fast so you need to use them wisely. One of the best things is the co-op. When you are playing the campaign anyone with the same progress can join you and do quests with you etc. (For some reason I can't join anyone right now and I'm at the same chapter and all). You have an option to turn off the co-op so that no one can join you. There are vehicles which are very useful.

Forgot to say that you can only join people with the same OR lower game progress.

I was thinking about getting this.

Just seen the offical trailer & gameplay, looks pretty nice, maybe that I will but it too...
Is the game itself a little like fallout 3?

Hmm, I never played Fallout 3 but I guess it kind of is.

Have just seen a few videos by TheRadBrad, the game does look very good, maybe Ill buy it.
I love games like where you can choose what you wanna do and stuff, and it even looks better then Fallout, evrything in Fallout is dark without any colors, it's a great game but once I start playing it I never play it very long

ive just rented it, should hopefully arrive on tuesday thought id see if id actually enjoy it first

Awesome!

Just a little update, I am currently level 28 and still enjoying the game. Nearly all the time I am playing co op with some random people, we exchange weapons and help out each other .
Its going to take me a week possibly to complete the storyline.
